That depends on what you want to book:


Outdoor sessions- booked yearly on a single-drop basis. I announce a date for the year's worth of outdoor sessions to open and drop all of them on that date. This typically happens in February. Once those sell out, my outdoor books close for the year.


Indoor sessions- booked privately through me. This includes any newborn, milestone, indoor maternity, or indoor family session. These are easier to schedule just because they are done during the day. If you want to discuss an indoor session, just hit the "contact" tab and reach out to me!

I love working with my families and seniors to come up with the perfect location that embodies what they are envisioning their session to feel like. There are so many factors that I take into account when discussing locations: weather/lighting on that specific day, light filters, the age/temperament of any kids, and how the look of locations change throughout seasons. Unless a family has an exact location they want to shoot at, I give suggestions and we talk through them.

First and foremost, you know your child best. If you absolutely do not want your little one up past x-pm, look at months with earlier start times (ie April, May, October, and November). Start times at booking are based on clear conditions- this may change slightly due to heavily wooded or urban locations as well as if weather becomes overcast. Your start time is chosen for optimal lighting and I do not recommend differing from that- lighting is truly one of the most important aspects to the overall look of your images and is not something that editing can fix.


If you are open to keeping little one up past bedtime, I do send over tips and tricks on how to help make this successful during booking. In addition, how I have sessions flow is very much child-based. We tailor your session to best fit little one's needs at that time and truly, this typically leads to incredible candids.

I always like to remember that children didn't book this session, we did. So we need to give them some grace and make things fun.


When booking your session, I always have parents fill out a detailed questionnaire. In it you can give me some insight into personalities or tips for winning them over (I also have some tricks up my sleeve).


What I love about my sessions are that they are child-led. If you have a kid that we need to burn some energy out, we will play some games. If you have a kid that is more shy and glued to a parent, I'll take a step back and let that child cuddle and warm up more (while secretly shooting).


At the end of the day, what I want for you and your gallery is a true portrayal of your family. I want you to feel the stage of life you're in and that's what's so beautiful about capturing children- they are unapologetically raw. So let's capture that.

Absolutely! In fact, outfits are one of the fully controllable factors of your session that can take your images from pretty to absolutely stunning.


When you book a session, I send over a detailed prep guide which discusses different aspects of the session but also goes into detail on what I suggest to wear. My suggestions are based off of years of shooting and editing different colors and textures and really honing in what I find works best for my style of photography.

While hopefully this isn't the case, unfortunately Mother Nature holds all the cards. In the case of rain, excessive winds, or extreme heat/cold, we will reschedule to a mutually agreed upon date.

Session inclusions- full sessions: full sessions come with all edited digitals. Meaning what I edit and deliver is yours to download, keep, and print independently.


Session inclusions- mini sessions: mini sessions come with a set number of downloads. You will receive a fully edited online gallery where you can choose your x-number of images to download, keep, and print independently. You may also choose to purchase extra images in your gallery but this is merely an option and not a requirement.


Printing- I do not offer printing at this time but along with your gallery, I send over printing recommendations.
